The "Surrounded Islands" was an art project by artist Christo, carried out from 1983 to 1984. It involved wrapping 11 islands in Miami's Biscayne Bay with 6.5 million square meters of pink fabric. The project created a spectacular visual experience that focused on the relationship between nature and art.
